I'm tired of the pageview wars out there. I've noticed so many people's signatures with "advice" on how to get more pageviews. UGH... honestly, deviantART is about art, not pageviews. Notice how it's called deviantART and not deviantPAGEVIEWS! Popularity does not imply success in its truest form.

And I quote the following from FAQ #4: Which options can I control under the Edit Settings page?:
"Pageviews Display - See Pageviews: This toggles whether you will see other people's pageviews. If you decide not to, we'll let other people know that you don't care about pageviews when they visit your profile."

Used ~Cenakuu's shiny stamp template in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

This is perfect. Yes, I hate it when people think it's about how popular you are, and not about appreciating your art. :disbelief: Also, I can't stand it when people draw fanart for pageviews.

awww you're right!! I hate people only interested on pageviews ¬.¬ DA is for art not a competitions of pageviews ¬__¬ most of people think that if you have a lot of pageviews you're so good, but most of people aren't or are only "collectors" that only think in visits and "thank you for the fav.." things XD

Thanks so much, hun! I totally agree with you; popularity is associated with success which is happiness but I wholeheartedly disagree. I compliment anyone who sees things our way about pageviews.
